We had a successful AGM on 17 March and a full committee. It is very pleasing to see that most of the current committee have made themselves available again and also to see some new “blood”.
Welcome to Paula, Ron and Ingrid – our newest committee members. And thanks to those who have helped out last year and for various reasons are not with us on the committee this year including Tony, Angela and Mark. Special thanks also to Kathie Stobbs who has done a great job securing funding for 2 new kayaks as well as for spray decks and polo boat parts.
What was decided at the AGM?
Membership Fees remain unchanged at $50 for family, $40 for senior and $25 for student/junior. Fees are now due for the 2010/11 year so check the membership list in this newsletter to see if you are financial or not.

Kayak hirage fees have been increased to keep up with inflation etc. Does that sound like a familiar phrase? But seriously we do need to earn a little bit of cash for repairs and maintenance of our fleet. See the list of hire fees later in the newsletter.
